Bummer!

Cameron's Immune Globulin transfusions went well, but we won't know if they were successful in building his immune system for a few weeks. This morning's blood work revealed that Cameron's hemoglobin (red blood cell) count dropped again, this time below the transfusion threshold, so he'll be getting some more vampire juice this afternoon.

I am so sorry you have to ride this roller coaster. I hope that the little man rallies and beats this thing soon!

Sorry to hear your little man is still needing treatments. I'll keep praying for your family.

Sorry. I hope his little body gets it figured out. He's got such bigger things to worry about (like his siblings...I can't wait for his drama. )

With Cameron needing so much blood, is there a way for us to donate in his name? I have heard of this before and was curious if it would help out in his situation?

Let us know what all we can do, in addition to prayers and such...

Thinking of you

Oh my goodness, poor little dude! (I LOVE CHOP, too. But hated that we had to go there.)

I was wondering the same thing as Nikki. When my kiddo needed blood people could donate in his name and they gave us a credit on his bill (I am sure you don't even want to think about that at this point!)

I'm sorry he's still thirsty for more..

I have to tell you something. Tonight I was at the school Book Fair (at parent teacher conference) and you will never guess what they had. AN OLSEN TWINS BOOK!

ROFL

And.. this is SHOCKING.. but it was on clearance for $2. :-O I can't imagine why.

Just so you know IVIG is an amazing thing...it kept my children alive for many years. As always, good luck to you and your family.

He is so beautiful and he looks like he's handling it well, although I know it's not easy for him or for you.
He's in good hands at CHOP. It's one of the best children's hospitals on the East Coast. I used to volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House at 39th & Chestnut where families stayed whose children were receiving treatment at CHOP, and they were all very happy with the hospital.

Thank you so much for all of your thoughts and prayers. I've never heard about donating blood in someone's name before, but I'll ask the next time we're in..which is on Wednesday!
