No kidding, and I'm one of those fools that thinks that when my husband has a day off of work then I must have a vacation day, too. Yeah right, He watched the kids for a few minutes between his morning nap and afternoon nap. I need a back-to-work ticker. :)

oh my goodness, no kidding. My daughter left for college in August for Kansas, we live in Idaho. I thought I was going to go crazy not seeing her until December...well, I got used to her not being here and it was quiet. Fast forward 4 months and I am SO ready for her to go back. As much as I love my child, we have grown accustomed to different things these past 4 months. She leaves again on the 5th and I know its going to be hard, but it will be nice to have my house back again!!

Our kids go back to school Monday! Woo Hoo! I might actually manage to get the laundry and dishes done in the same day!

I hear you sister! I just posted about that yesterday!!!
But, I'm sure a week or so back to work and school will make me eat my words!

Yay for school! Yay for early bedtimes so I can watch Soapnet uninterrupted!
Yay for going back to work tomorrow!
Glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks this way!

Well wouldn't this be your nightmare then- I am a special ed teacher (Developmental Kindergarten) and our school had a massive water pipe break. We are closed for at least another week. We have to make up the days but I know parents are going crazy. My 16 month old for me isn't the issue, it is the hubby that took the week off. He goes back to work on Monday.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you who have another week (or more) of winter break.
