Back to School Pictures!!!

Today was my boys' first day of kindergarten.

All I asked for was one picture for their scrapbooks.

I heart cooperative children.

At least they're coordinated! That could make such a cute scrapbook page. Definitely unusual! (Though something tells me your family's scrapbooks are never short on "unusual"...)

ha! Gotta love kids starting back to school. They'll definitely look back in a few years and laugh!

So, do they have t-shirts that read, "MY MOM IS BLOGGING THIS RIGHT NOW!"?

'Cause I can think of no funner way to make my children miserable. ha ha ha ha ha

Great pictures. Perfect for their scrapbooks. Lil' D just started k4 yesterday. I got a great picture of him. I certainly hope he lets me take one next year for kindergarten. Have a wonderful day and take care.

my kid does that 75% of the time I pull my camera out. the other 25% of the time she gives me the stink eye or the fake smile. both of which kill me. tis the life of the overphotographed, i suppose.

We need to get a zoom lense that we can use from a distance far enough away that they won't see us coming.

When we went to SFO recently my 19 & 23 year old unmarried children glared at me whenever I pulled out the camera or look they would look the other way. I really wanted to be mad at them so, I just took the picture anyway because I wanted to remember our trip and maybe someday they'll have some regret that they didn't cooperate. LOL!

You may <3 cooperative children, but it looks like you don't got'em. At least for today.

Time for some stealth photography.

God bless their teacher(s)! Tell me they're in the same classroom...

(Sorry, had to un-post the first comment due to an unexplainable grammatical error!)

It's even better when they decide they're too cool to kiss you in front of their friends...at the ripe old age of 5. And it was my girl. Ouch...not ready for that yet!

First day of school! I remember it was a traumatic experience for my oldest nephew. He cried the first day, the second day and the third.... He cried most of the year! lol Hope your kids had fun.

That looks like our first day! My 5th grade classroom is on a balcony overlooking the kindergarten classes so we get to watch all kinds of first day fun! At least he wasn't crying at the top of his lungs and holding onto your leg like a drowning man!

This post made me laugh so much. Our new neighbor (well, WE are the new neighbors) has 4 small(ish) kids. Everytime I see the mom I want to say "hi Jana" but in fact, her name is Michelle. God, I hope she's funny...

I have one who STILL does that, at 18. I don't think I have a single photo of him.

My 5 year old runs away screaming anytime he sees the camera. He's better at the doctors office. Go figure!
