OMG - this is so something my son would have done ....
Maybe he is just dropping hints for Christmas? He even says he likes video games...hint, hint...
now THAT is funny.
I was waiting on the day this would happen to someone I know.
bahahahahahahahahahaha
that is stinking hilarious.
I have an 11 year old that thinks we should start a petition to change the spelling of 'we' to 'wii' in honor of Nintendo's brilliance. I wish I was kidding.
How funny!!! Generation W(ii) LOL
that is sooo funny!!
Wow...I never even thought about that...how Wii is pronounced "we" and that a 6 year old would think that's how it's spelled. So funny! ha ha
awesome! love it!
Hysterical. Love it. It's a lose lose situation.
The first time I came across this I thought it was hilarious. I'm happy to report that the student now spells it correctly.
awesome. we don't own a Wii. i hope we never do. i hear it is a money pit. i wonder what his christmas list will look like. take care.
hahahah Wii! What a smart cookie tho! Atleast he was paying attention!...sorta lol
Duh...that is how you spell "we" nowadays...just wait until they start writing in text format...talk about a new foreign language!
TTYL
Maybe he was writing that way in hopes of subliminaly getting you to buy him a wii. He thought you wouldn't notice. He is brilliant!
A child of the 21st century!
That is just too hilarious!!
A true sign of the times we're living in! That is priceless!
HA HA! Sadly, I can only imagine what all of the texting is doing to the older kids and their spelling...
this is too funny
Oh no! The Wii is ruining our spellers :)
I always thought that that puny little letter was a poor substitute for the First Person. I mean, in every other language it's at least two or three letters long--it sort of looks like someone one day just forgot the "ch", and it caught on.
So maybe a new spelling is in order.
Wii are laughing over here.
Wii tink tis HILARIOUS!
hii hii.
*sigh* I taught high school English for the last 5 years until my daughter was born, and this is becoming the NORM!!!! I have seen kids use text language on standardized tests. Heaven help us.
OMG! ROTHFLMAO! HDIGABTT?!!!
wii lic viteogam s
hee
LOVE it
You have to keep this {forever} these little "scraps" of paper are so priceless. Love it.
I fought that battle recently with my six-year-old too!
I almost died laughing. Ain't technology GRAND?!!
That is THE CUTEST story I've ever heard! At least he's only 6.
A similar but not so funny story...I once saw a 9th grader argue with his teacher over the correct spelling of the word dog.
He was born and raised in Georgia...a Georgia Bull"dawg" fan. So, that's the only way he would spell the word dog.
This is hilarious! Wii love it!
That is funny. You know only teachers and other people with kids can read those sentences!
I knew that was going to screw some kid up somewhere. I've just been waiting for it to happen. As for mii, I don't think it will be long before my 5 year old and I fight about that one too.
Last night we had a battle of wills over which direction a 6 faces.
Funny, funny!
Hope you don't mind me stopping by.
Oh man. My worst nightmare. I got out of teaching just before texting got big. But I did get an occasional "Ur" instead of "your" and I almost lost it.
Hahahahaha! My 11 year old son just asked us the other day, "Mom and Dad, if you both die, who gets the wii?" Nice. My husband replied, "Mom. It's hers, so bury it with her."
That's NOT how to spell "Wii"?
Ha ha...Very funny!
That is hilarious! I love your blog. The banner at the top is so creative. Keep up the great work!
