Recently, my children have been forced to confront some hard truths. Included among them are the realizations that a) not everyone believes in the Easter Bunny b) some people don't like wet willies c) the Tooth Fairy is cheap.
This weekend, they learned their most painful life lesson to date: namely, that not everyone in the world likes the Duke Blue Devils as much as they do.
It's a cruel world indeed.

OK you are hilarious.
I love the look on her face!
Well that settles it, even you are not perfect. This coming from a Tarheel fan, of course. *wink*
hahahahaha
'sokay. We might not like Duke, but that doesn't mean we don't like you. :)
Go Heels. ;) We like you anyway. :p
Wait till you move to Florida... You'll have Gator paraphernalia all over the place!
Way more tragic than the Easter Bunny!
Such a cute picture. I hate to say it but I come from a very anti-Duke state. I am UK Wildcat fan all the way. Unfortunately, I am old enough to remember the Christian Laettner days. It still hurts to remember---but I am huge fan of your blog!
Hooray for Duke...it is a tough lesson to learn so young. I am a Duke grad living in Maryland and I feel it everyday.
This is funny. Love the picture. This reminds me of the BYU/Utah thing.
My daughter thought the tooth fairy was so cheap she wanted to sell her teeth back to the tooth fairy. Which she did,( minus 1 day's interest).
I have this shirt! GO TERPS!! Sorry your kids had to learn such a disappointing lesson. My 3 baby terps are growing up in Cary, NC so they have similar issues.
