Ski Bunny

I'm pretty much over winter. Philadelphia has other plans.

Thanks to last week's storm, my front yard looks like Mount Everest. The snow accumulation is easily waist high.

"That's not melting until June," predicted one of my neighbors, a very nice man in his early seventies.

I asked him if he would make snow angels with me on Memorial Day. I would be wearing my very sexy plaid mom tankini of course.

He shuddered and went inside.

I'm generally sick of winter after December. I suppose I can stand it in January. February is harder. March is the worst. Spring just feels so nice, and seems to take far too long. Winter in Philadelphia sounds harsher, though. Sorry.

Oh good it's still snowing somewhere in the US. I need a few more good snowstorms to make my first giveaway enticing. :)

Threats of snow here in North Carolina again. So all of the county went out to buy bread, beer, milk and TP. Those of us former NOrtherners, walked around the yard and admired the daffodils that have popped up! Sorry for your long endless wait!

I'm kind of a new reader, and your blog cracks me up! As for winter, I actually like it as long as there's actually snow on the ground. This is my first winter in Utah and it's just blah and brown. I can't wait to get back to my hometown in the northeast!

Yesterday was so hot. we had to open the windows and turn on the fan. Just making all the "snowed in" jealous. But really, it was that hot.

I'm looking for ward to Spring too. But so far it looks like Winter has it in a stranglehold.

I'm from Washington state. I just bragged, a few days ago, to my daughter, (who lives in Idaho), that we didn't have one flake all winter.
Saturday we were having a bbq and roasting hot dogs. Today, March 8th, we had it all....rain, sun, snow, sleet, the works. Should have kept my mouth shut.
