I'll give you a clue: It's not where you think.
Believe it or not, these photos were taken at a Sears Portrait Studio in the mall! Armed with fancy new digital cameras and high-tech photo editing programs, your local Sears photographers are equipped to take some wonderfully gorgeous photos of your family....in a short period of time...in a convenient and familiar place...with minimal trauma to mother and child.
When we got our photographs taken last week, Cameron spit up on the photographer four times, Kellen wouldn't sit still, Cortlen wouldn't stop inquiring about the bag of candy in my purse, and Camber struggled mightily against the urge to clench her jaw into a bizarre forced smile. Sears....hmmmmm...I remember waiting for two hours during the Christmas season 14 years ago for what turned out to be horrific family pictures!!! And we only had one kid to hold at the time! Yes, the experience was that bad. Having family pictures taken would be fun torture for both my husband and my (now) three teens. Well, I would enjoy it.

I love it when those type of studios actually get someone who knows what they are doing. I go to JC Penny, and sometimes I absolutely love the pictures, and sometimes I want to take the camera from the photographer (used loosely here).
I would love to update our pictures. My poor neglected second child does not have nearly as many pictures as my first.
I would love to win this. That collage is adorable. I really want pictures of my new baby with his big brother. I've never actually had professional pictures taken. Not just with my family but ever. Besides school pictures. I'd like to see what all the hubbub is about!

I have had to cancel the last 3 appointments because of various reasons (I was covered in a rash, sick, and a big bruise on my little ones cheek). We neeeeed pictures taken! The next appointment we are all going no matter what we look like.

My dear sweet youngest child has never had a professional picture taken of her. She's 5. Her first school picture was going to be "the" professional picture for her, but this would be SO much better!

photographs are a reminder of how sweet, little, innocent, and adorable your little ones once used to be... It is hard to think as we go through the stages of childhood that we will forget anything, but we will... Photographs are so important!! Especially until they get to school and start getting school pics. And don't forget to buy that crazy shot of your child making a face, or even crying... It probably isn't funny at the time, but one day you will look back and laugh, and that will probably be your favorite photo!!!
I have never had portraits taken at Sears. Yours look great. I was so good about having professional photos of my first two kiddos done, but baby # 3 has only had them done once. I am such a slacker.

We love Sears and as a potrait addict I would love the package! I have a great portrait of my oldest at nine months with the biggest smile on her face and her legs raised. She was pooping as they took the picture. Can't wait to show that one to her hubby. Ahhh, the memories!
I have been a follower of you blog for awhile now, but haven't ever posted. I have bbg triplets who are four and another son who just turned three (we were one month shy of having 4 kids within a calendar year!!!) We haven't had pictures taken of the group since December of 2007. I am sure you can imagine the joy of taking 4 young ones to the portrait studio and trying to get anything remotely resembling a picture that you would want to send to your family or friends. We are hoping to win this package and hoping that they are old enough now to have a better portrait experience than two years ago.
We only used Sears once when my daughter was a baby.....glad to hear they are catching up with the digital age. REALLY need new pics so hope we win!

I love Sears! We always go there for our pictures. My first son is now 2 1/2 and for the last year has given quite a difficult time getting his pictures taken, but our photographer (and we request the same lady everytime because she is so great) always manages to get great pictures of him no matter how long it takes - she is so patient! We now have a second son who is almost 6 months old and we continue to go to Sears and request the same lady and she knows us personally - such a wonderful experience!

When my first daughter was born in 1989, we were so overcome with joy and love. For her first two years, I would clip coupons and spend way too much at the Sears Portrait Studio in the mall. Then we had a second daughter and everything changed. Didn't go to the mall very often, less money to spend. Second daughter reminds me of this every time the family pictures come out. Why do you have hundreds of pictures of Rachel and none of me? She is very bitter, and I am full of regret. This is a perfect opportunity to make it up to her since we just celebrated her 17th birthday. It's never too late, is it?

I took my kiddos to get pictures at a studio once. When asked how much the pics cost me I replied "two outfits, gas for two trips to the store, a gallon of ice cream, an elmo video and some asprin" but for free, I'd endure it all again.

We once took our two along with six cousins to have pictures taken for their grandparents. The Sears photographer was so sweet about the whole thing. One of the kids kept puffing up his cheeks and thinking that he just had air in there, the photographer jokingly squeezed his cheeks and a mouthful of spit came out! She was very nice about it all! Nicer than I would have been.

Can totally relate to your photo experience, I have a 10 year old with autism, and have tried every place on the planet, we tried Sears this past Mother's Day along with my 8 year old and 3 year old niece (a rowdy clan) and got GREAT pictures! With six children I HATE having to get pictures done, it is always a first class fiasco. However, with my youngest step son back in state, I've been wanting a picture of our whole family (that is six kids, 2 grown-up kids, and 2 grown-ups...if you're keeping track) and a free picture...?
