Thanks everyone for participating..... and especially for being good sports. Sometimes laughter isn't the best medicine. Most of the time though, it is.

LOL! I have enjoyed this whole pageant ( makes my scaly skin issues seem so insignificant).... and congratulations Erin!
ohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh I'm crying I'm laughing this is the proudest moment of my life . . . I totally never thought I'd won. Seriously. This is just so-- humbling-- and touching-- and you know, I just want to thank my Mom, and my Dad who gave me the disease in the first place, and my rheumatologist, and my family doctor who first discovered the rt factor in my blood, and my swollen joints, and-- and-- and-- [faints]

Good job with the humor, Jana! At first I wasn't sure, but it was all in good taste! I wish they all could've won!
your dad who have you the disease in the first place...I fell out of the chair from laughing so hard.
That's what I say about my chronic eczema, thank you dad, just what every little girl always dreams of getting from her daddy!
This is like having the winner hail from my hometown! I feel like I should organize a parade!

Yes, laughter is a most excellent medicine and it's got a great price!
My heart disease pals and I were giggling over the batter-dipped deep fried butter that was a hot contender at the Texas State Fair....
